Day 14: Works on Paper Citique 1 / Palazzo Vecchio

Today marks the halfway point in our program, and with that our first of two formal critique in the Works on Paper class. This objective of the first project was to select a avenue for manipulating paper from among a broad range of possibilities.
...A few highlights from student's works:
Brandon's paper confessional (with phone recorder)
Morgan's series of folded paper masks based on famous and not so famous Italians
Anika's paper fruit bowl
Kate's layered pop-up landscapes of Florence and Siena

Susan's paper studded lingerie
Kendall's minimalist stacked paper piece
Mariana's shrines to birds of Italy

...in the afternoon we met up for sketchbook drawing at Palazzo Vecchio.
