Day 24: Works on Paper / Plazzo Strozzi

This morning students continue a series of multi-layer monotypes.
In the evening, students meet up at the Palazzo Strozzi, once a renaissance palace, the Strozzi is now one of the top exhibition venues in Florence.  We attended the special exhibition Dawn of a Nation. From Guttuso to Fontana and Schifano which featured Italian works from the 1950s and 60s. Renato Guttuso, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Emilio Vedova, Piero Manzoni, Mario Schifano, Mario Merz and Michelangelo Pistoletto.
